I was watching a movie called Deceived with Gooldie Hawn and John

Hey!
I am a huge Degrassi fan, I've been watching since "The Kids of Degrassi
Street" and I'm 19.
Anyway, the guy who played "Mike Nelson," or Wheels' biological father
is
apparently a very good drummer. He was recently at a workshop at New
Glasgow High School in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. I know some people
who go
to school there, and they say he looked the same, down to the clothes :)
Anyway, I thought I would share that tidbit... and anyone looking for
Degrassi books in Canada, look in used book stores or try school
libraries... I saw a bunch last year at a place in New Glasgow...

I believe those were duckpin bowling balls as opposed to the 10 pin
bowling
balls. In 10 pin, you get to roll 2 balls per frame. In duckpin, the
balls
are smaller with no holes, and you get to roll 3 per frame. Scoring is

the same. We have both here in Washington DC.

Hello Degrassi chums,
Alright I could be seeing things but in the episode when Alex and Tessa
break up (sorry the title has eludded me) - there is a wall which they
stand beside that has a monument with names on it- and I believe one of
the names is: Sari Friedland, who's name also appears in the credits.
I'm pretty confidient I saw it there. Sorry about not researching
this.
Anyways,I've probably seen each degrassi episode
10 times and I still don't catch some of the stuff I learn from you all

It's a little late...but I just found out about this eGroup yesterday!
Last spring, around this time, Simon came into the Second Cup where I
used to work on Slater St. in Ottawa, he seemed pretty cool, gave us his
autograph (very sloppy handwritng for the record) which we kept posted
in our staff room.

my roommate swears that Rick works at a tattoo shop in Ottawa on Rideau

Finally! a chance for me to come out of the closet! I just found this
site yesterday and i'm psyched to find others such as myself..i knew
they were out there. Degrassi is the coolest..i'm 22 and have been
watching Degrassi for as long as I can remember..Last year it was
played on Showcase every weekday from noon to one, it was the perfect
reason to have lunch at home. now, i watch it everyday at four, and low
and behold it's on again at 7pm on showcase!!

Something I've been thinking about, it may be a little on the "blue"
side,
but I think it is relevant:
in School's Out when Joey and Tessa go down to "the Zone", and Joey
says
afterward that he got to "third base", what does that imply?
(A) right before the commercial, they show him with his hand up her
shirt
(B) where I come from (right near Toronto), that only constitutes
getting to
second base
It makes you wonder just what happened in the back of that Camaro
during
their first date. But this becomes unimportant when you realize what
happens on their second date.
Also, think about this line from the beginning of School's Out: "It's
almost midnight, I can't believe the party's still going!" That's one
of my
favourites. I can never believe it either when a wild drunken
high-school
booze up is still going that late.
I love Degrassi - it taught me everything I know about how to be cool.
