Hi there Degrassi Fans!

Just thought I'd let you know that Roger Montgomery, otherwise known as Mr. Garcia, sent me an email the other day! Deborah Lobban had been browsing the web and came across my modest Degrassi Web Page, and couldn't find either her character (Doris Bell) or Mr. Garcia! They were both there, (Mr Garcia under G, and Doris Bell under B - I try to put characters under the initial of their first names) - but I guess she couldn't find them. Okay, so maybe this isn't exciting for everyone else, but it's my little brush with a Degrassi cast member, so I thought I'd let you all know!

I would really appreciate if you could offer me your assistance. I am interested in obtaining the address(es) of the school(s) in which DJH was taped. Thank-you for your co-operation and time. P.S. Great web site and Degrassi Rocks!

*Mark* The buildings where DJH was filmed was in a school building which housed two schools. Those two schools were called St. Peters College and Vincent Massey Junior School, both in the same building, in Etobicoke, Ontario. As for DH, the building can be located in lower Scarborough, called Centennial College. I am not certain if the school are still called that, but I looked in a Toronto phonebook in 1988 under Degrassi Junior High, and it gave me the address of a school that was 45 minutes away from Degrassi Street. I went there, and sure enough, the school was there. Most of the scenes were filmed in the building while the outdoor scenes were filmed around Queen Street in Toronto and around Degrassi Street as well, in East End Toronto. Playing With Time is still owned by Linda Schuyler, but is called Epitome Pictures, INC. You can reach them at (416) 752-7627 and you can ask them the exact address of the building...As for Centennial College, it is definitely in lower Scarborough (south east Toronto), near Queen Street.

I wrote to an update page about seeing one of the twins on Bravo! a year or so ago. Sure enough, she was talking about flamenco dancing.

I really feel the characters of Amy and Allison were shafted in the ways of character development and on air screen time. They were pretty cool, and cute! =P Does anyone else feel this way?

*Mark* I totally agree with you, but there are some guys who like that type of girl. I often think that the show did not give the fifty some odd actors an equal chance for performing. Season four and five allowed us to get to know more of Michelle, Diana, and some other characters that never spoke in Degrassi Junior High. I think that there was too much emphasis on the regular characters....That's my opinion.

Does anyone own the copy of "School's Out" and would it be possible for me to receive a copy?

Thanks Amanda

*Mark* please contact the Digest address if anyone wants to post any information about trading. You can also visit Oren and Guy's site if anyone want to trade any Degrassi stuff. There is no more Degrassi merchandise sold to the public, as Playing With Time has moved, and Linda and Kit went their own separate ways. Linda's company is under the name Epitome Pictures, Inc. and Kit's is Timeless Productions. Their Queen Street Production company has moved, and they are not open to the public. Your Degrassi T-Shirts, Records, books, etc...are antiques now. Keep them.
